Sheriff's Advisory Team
Now Recruiting for the Sheriff's Advisory Team
Sheriff Jim Hart is recruiting new members for his Sheriff’s Advisory Team. Members of the Team serve for a one year period. Meetings are typically from 6pm – 8pm on the second Wednesday of each month. The Team advises Sheriff Hart about issues impacting their neighborhoods and businesses, as well as gains a deeper understanding of the services the Sheriff’s Office provides for our County.
The application period is open until July 28, 2017. The new Team will have their first meeting in September. The application for the Sheriff’s Advisory Team can be found at the bottom of this page.
About the Sheriff's Advisory Team
The Sheriff’s Advisory Team is a representative group of volunteer members who live and work in the Santa Cruz County. The advisory team meets with Santa Cruz County Sheriff Jim Hart monthly and discusses law enforcement issues that are impacting our neighborhoods and rural areas.
The Sheriff’s Advisory Team consists of community members from all walks of life including residents from all five Board of Supervisors districts, residents of each of the four cities, and people working in the health, treatment, faith, education and business professions.
